Collection & Recovery Executive

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Collection & Recovery Executive based in Bhopal. The role involves managing overdue accounts, following up with customers through visits and calls, and ensuring timely recovery of repayments while maintaining a professional and respectful approach. The executive will conduct field visits, verify customer information, assess repayment challenges, and propose suitable repayment plans in line with company policies. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of collections, updating internal systems, preparing daily and weekly reports, and coordinating closely with branch and credit teams. The executive is expected to adhere to regulatory guidelines and company code of conduct, support customer awareness on repayment discipline, and contribute to portfolio quality and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Strong Credit Control and Finance skills, with the ability to understand lending products, repayment structures, and basic financial concepts.
• Hands-on experience or aptitude in Debt Collection and recovery processes, including field collections and account follow-up.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with customers, explain terms clearly, and build rapport at the community level.
• Good Analytical Skills to review repayment trends, identify high-risk accounts, and recommend suitable recovery strategies.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of microfinance operations and local market conditions in and around Bhopal is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site, conduct regular field visits, and manage time and routes efficiently.
• Basic computer literacy for report preparation, data entry, and usage of mobile or digital collection tools.
• Integrity, customer-centric mindset, and willingness to adhere to ethical collection practices and company policies.
