Cognos Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking immediate joiners for the position of Cognos Developer to join our team on a 1-year contract-to-hire basis, located in Hyderabad and Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM Cognos development, including experience with Cognos 10.x and Cognos 11.1, as well as proficiency in SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and deploy dashboard solutions and multi-dimensional reports using IBM Cognos.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze company needs related to Cognos development.
• Construct reporting solutions while adhering to data warehousing best practices.
• Participate in project planning and ensure successful delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Cognos applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Cognos development, including versions 10.x and 11.1.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and report development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet project objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Immediate availability to join.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cognos Framework Manager and Cognos TM1.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Previous experience in contract-to-hire positions.
