Cognos Data Integration Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Cognos Data Integration Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration processes, specifically using IBM Cognos Data Integration tools, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows to support our data management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data integration processes using IBM Cognos Data Integration tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform data profiling and data quality assessment to ensure high-quality data integration.
• Create and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
• Optimize and troubleshoot data integration workflows and processes for performance and efficiency.
• Document data integration processes, technical specifications, and system configurations.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in data integration or ETL processes, preferably using IBM Cognos Data Integration tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Experience in data modeling and designing data warehouses.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
