Job Description

Provide technical support, administration, and engineering for client/server, middleware, and/or mainframe applications, hardware, or operating systems.
Serve as a Cognos Administrator with 6–8 years of experience in Cognos 10.1 and 10.2, including upgrading, patching, installing, and configuring.
Work with large databases such as SQL Server, Netezza, DB2, and Oracle.
Administer Cognos in an enterprise IBM environment; must be focused on administration, not development.
Manage deployments and versioning using tools like Metamanager and iCS.
Utilize Cognos Report Studio, Framework Manager, and Transformer for administration tasks.
Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and challenges, applying best practices in business intelligence reporting and data quality.
Understand software development lifecycle methodologies, particularly Agile.
