Role Description The Coding Teacher will deliver engaging online coding lessons to school-age students in a remote, part-time capacity. Daily responsibilities include planning and conducting live virtual classes, introducing coding fundamentals and problem-solving concepts, and adapting teaching approaches to different learning styles. The role involves designing lesson plans, creating simple projects or exercises, assessing student understanding, and providing constructive feedback to learners and their families. The Coding Teacher will collaborate with the EdifyChamps team to refine curriculum materials, maintain consistent class schedules, and use online tools to track student progress and support their overall development in technology and computational thinking.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience instructing children or adolescents in academic or technology-focused subjects.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Training skills to explain concepts clearly, guide learners through challenges, and interact professionally with families.
• Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills to design structured, age-appropriate coding lessons and learning activities.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Scratch, Python, JavaScript, or similar) and familiarity with online learning platforms and tools.
• Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment and adjust teaching methods for diverse learning needs.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability in maintaining part-time schedules, and comfort working independently in a remote setting.
• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical teaching and coding experience.
