About the Role

You will evaluate Rust patches, validate borrow-checker fixes, inspect unsafe blocks, and ensure type correctness. AI coding tools support deeper analysis of ownership, lifetimes, and compile-time behavior.

Responsibilities

• Validate borrow-checker reasoning and ownership flows
• Review unsafe blocks and detect logical safety issues
• Run Rust test suites and analyze failures
• Use AI tools to evaluate repository correctness
• Suggest improvements to code structure and safety

Skills & Experience Required

• 14 years Rust programming experience
• Deep understanding of ownership/borrowing, traits, lifetimes
• Familiarity with Cargo, testing, and unsafe code review
• Experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code)
• strong in type-safety & compiler reasoning
