About the Role
As a Ruby Coding Agent, you will work across AI-assisted development environments such as Cursor, Claude Code, and other modern coding platforms to evaluate and enhance Ruby-based codebases. Your responsibilities include reviewing code patches, identifying and debugging issues, validating business logic, and ensuring high-quality, production-ready outputs.
Responsibilities
- Validate Ruby/Rails patches, controller/model logic
- Debug ActiveRecord queries, callbacks, and MVC flows
- Run RSpec tests and interpret errors
- Use AI coding agents for repository understanding
- Provide structured reasoning for correctness
Skills & Experience Required
- 2+ years Ruby/Rails experience
- Strong understanding of MVC patterns, ActiveRecord, RSpec
- Debugging and PR review skills
- Experience using AI coding platforms
- strong in MVC reasoning & patch evaluation
