About the Role

As a PHP Coding Agent, you will utilize AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and other advanced coding environments to review, analyze, and optimize PHP applications. Your role involves evaluating code patches, identifying bugs, validating backend logic, and ensuring adherence to modern PHP standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Validate PHP patches across backend frameworks
• Debug logic issues, routing problems, and service flows
• Run PHP Unit tests and analyze failures
• Use AI coding tools to inspect repository structure
• Provide correctness, safety, and maintainability judgments

Skills & Experience Required

• 2+ years PHP backend experience
• Strong understanding of Laravel/Symfony, DI containers, MVC patterns
• Familiarity with PHPUnit and debugging workflows
• Comfortable using Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools
• strong framework & patch evaluation skills
