We are hiring C++ Developers for an exciting Freelance Opportunity AI Evaluation & Open-Source Engineering Project with one of the world's leading AI/LLM companies.

Position Details

Role: C++ Developer – AI Evaluation Engineer

Experience: 2+ Years

Location: India

Mode: Remote

Compensation:$15 per approved task

Employment Type: Contractor / Freelance

Contract Duration: 2–3 Weeks (Extension Possible)

Mandatory Skills

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience in C++
• Experience with Git, Docker, and repository setup
• Ability to understand and navigate complex codebases
• Experience running, modifying, debugging, and testing applications locally
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with software development best practices and code quality assessment

Preferred Skills

• Open-source contribution experience
• LLM/AI evaluation projects
• Experience with developer tools, CI/CD, or automation frameworks
• Experience building or testing developer productivity tools

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and triage GitHub issues in open-source projects
• Configure repositories and development environments
• Evaluate code quality and unit test coverage
• Execute, modify, and test C++ codebases
• Assess LLM-generated bug fixes and code changes
• Collaborate with researchers on challenging AI evaluation tasks
• Identify repositories and issues that are difficult for AI models to solve
• Provide technical insights on code quality and bug-fixing performance

Availability Requirement

• Minimum 40 hours per week
• At least 4 hours overlap with PST timezone
• Immediate joining preferred
• Ability to commit throughout the contract duration

Eligibility

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
