About the Role
We are looking for a Code Review & Validation Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on software quality, code correctness, and engineering best practices.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated code outputs across multiple programming languages and software domains, helping improve how AI models generate, validate, and optimize production-quality code.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the accuracy, efficiency, maintainability, and reliability of AI-generated solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for software development, automation, and code intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including code reviews, debugging strategies, and validation workflows
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated code responses across various programming languages and frameworks
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world software issues to improve AI reasoning and coding capabilities
- Assess AI-generated code for correctness, readability, scalability, performance, and security considerations
- Identify bugs, logical inconsistencies, edge-case failures, or incorrect assumptions in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on software engineering and code generation
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of software development principles, debugging, and code review practices
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or Go
- Familiarity with version control systems, testing frameworks, and development workflows
- Ability to critically evaluate code quality, architecture, and performance
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving real-world software issues
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
