Job Description

Cockroach DBA:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain CockroachDB clusters

2. Monitor database performance and ensure high availability and security

3. Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and upgrades.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

5. Exposure to Logical and Physical replication.

6. Good written and verbal communication.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
Proven knowledge of SQL Servers
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Experience:6-15 yrs
