Job Description
Work Experience Requirements:
- 5 yrs – 10yrs of experience in Mainframe Projects preferably in insurance domain.
Responsibilities
- Must have experience on Life Admin Systems/ Life Insurance, Annuity products
- Min 6+ years of experience in development of policy administration system (COBOL)
- Min 5+ years of experience in development/maintenance and Support projects of Mainframe preferably Cobol & DB2.
- Min 5+ yrs of experience in SQL
- Must have good knowledge of Policy Administration System design and architecture
- Must have hand-on experience of Insurance Policy Admin system Migration/Conversion project
- Must be aware of new technologies and market updates with respect to Life and Annuity business
- Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and design the proposed IT solution.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations and provide input to information/ data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
- Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.
- Document High Level and Low Level technical specifications.
- Good communication, problem solving & interpersonal skills
- Having Life insurance certifications such as LOMA will be added advantage

- Very well versed with tools and techniques for efficient project management and reporting.
- Proficiency in C# programming language, which will be considered an advantage.

Education Requirements
- B.TECH/MCA
- PMP/ITIL will be preferred
