About the Role

We are looking for a skilled COBOL Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, PL/SQL, and Banking Domain applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in application development, maintenance, production support, and defect remediation within enterprise banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL-based applications.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug COBOL programs to ensure optimal performance.
Perform defect fixing, root cause analysis, and code corrections for production and UAT issues.
Work with PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and database-related activities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand and implement requirements.
Participate in coding, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and SLA commitments.
Communicate effectively with clients and provide regular status updates.
Support incident management, change requests, and application maintenance activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
Work as an active team player in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
