We are seeking an entrepreneurial Co-Producer to join our client's Hindi film project as a business partner. The ideal candidate will contribute production expertise while also participating as an investor in the project. This role offers involvement in project development, financing, production oversight, distribution strategy, and revenue participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Project Management
- Collaborate with the Producer and creative team from development through release.
- Assist in budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and production planning.
- Oversee production milestones and ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with directors, cast, crew, vendors, and post-production teams.
- Monitor production quality and operational efficiency.
Financing & Investment
- Contribute agreed investment capital toward the project.
- Participate in financing strategy and fundraising initiatives.
- Support investor relations and financing documentation where required.
- Assist in evaluating financial risks and opportunities.
Business Development & Distribution
- Help identify distribution, streaming, theatrical, and international sales opportunities.
- Participate in negotiations with distributors, broadcasters, and platform partners.
- Support marketing, publicity, and event strategies.
Strategic Decision-Making
- Participate in major production and commercial decisions.
- Review budgets, cash flow reports, and production status updates.
- Contribute industry relationships that can benefit the project.
Investment Participation
- Co-Producer will invest an agreed amount into the project.
- Investment terms, recoupment structure, revenue sharing, and producer credits will be governed by a separate Investment and Co-Production Agreement.
- Profit participation and return on investment (ROI) will be defined contractually.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience producing or co-producing films, web series, television, or digital content.
- Strong understanding of film financing and production workflows.
- Experience in distribution, sales, or content monetization is desirable.
- Ability to evaluate budgets and financial reports.
- Demonstrated investment capacity aligned with project requirements.

Compensation Structure

Reporting Relationship
Reports directly to the Lead Producer / Executive Producer and works closely with the Director and production leadership team.
