Co-Op Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a talented team to design, develop, and implement software applications using object-oriented languages such as C++ or Python
• Apply object-oriented programming principles to build robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions
• Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance problem-solving strategies
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and follow best practices
• Assist in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure software reliability and performance
• Document software functionality, changes, and updates clearly and accurately
• Participate in agile practices including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and collaborative project discussions

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and hands-on experience with C++ or Python
• Solid problem-solving abilities and a passion for overcoming complex challenges
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Experience or coursework in software development projects is a plus
• Interest in using generative AI tools to boost development creativity and productivity
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
