EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

  • Position: Chief Technology Officer / Technical Co-Founder
  • Location: Chennai, India (on-site required, not remote)
  • Commitment: 100% full-time, 12-month Series A runway
  • Start Date: January 2026 (Target: M1 Alpha milestone)
  • Funding: 4 Crore pre-seed; 12-month bridge to Series A (Dec 2026)

THE OPPORTUNITY

Join as co-founder in a category-defining startup. MindFleet builds an AI-native OS for startups: 13 AI personas (CEO, CFO, CMO, etc.) as a virtual C-suite, delivering Fortune 500 capabilities at 1/10th cost.

Current State (Dec 2025):

  • 60 live agents, 354 passing tests
  • 4 pods (CEO, CFO, CMO, CRO) in production
  • 8-layer agentic architecture partially built
  • 170 git commits in 4 days (5X velocity)
  • 35L+ bootstrapped
  • Zero paying customers (your market-proof opportunity)

Mission: MVP to Series A product (700+ agents, 13 pods, 250+ customers, 1.5Cr+ ARR) in 12 months. First-mover window: 18-24 months.

THE ROLE: TECHNICAL CO-FOUNDER (NOT HIRED CTO)

Co-founder with board seat and full technical authority. Own the how of tech; align with AG (Anand Govindan) on what/why.

Full Autonomy Domains:

  1. Technical Architecture- Full (Languages, DBs, scalability)
  2. Team Building- Full (Hire 20 engineers, culture)
  3. Infrastructure/DevOps - Full (Cloud, CI/CD, monitoring)
  4. Code Quality - Full (Testing, reviews, debt)
  5. AI/ML Strategy - Full (SLM fine-tuning, models)

Shared Decisions: Product roadmap, launch timelines, hiring pace (data-driven resolution).

Founder's Final Say: Business/investor decisions (e.g., GTM, pricing).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (12-Month Horizon)

Phase 1: Stabilize & Scale (Jan-Feb 2026)

  • Audit architecture, fix debt
  • Build CI/CD (SOC 2 ready)
  • Hire 3-5 engineers
  • Set standards, monitoring
  • Success: 4 pods E2E tested; zero incidents.

Phase 2: Beta Infrastructure (Mar 2026)

  • Multi-tenancy, onboarding
  • Security, rate limiting
  • Hire to 8-10 engineers
  • Beta for 25K ARPU customers
  • Success: 50 betas; 99.5% uptime; <200ms latency.

Phase 3: GA Scale (Apr 2026)

  • Team to 15-20
  • Full AGORA governance
  • Scale to 10K requests
  • Analytics dashboard
  • SLM pipeline
  • Success: GA with 700+ agents; 99.9% SLA.

Phase 4: SLM Optimization (May-Jul 2026)

  • Fine-tune 4 Mistral models

TECHNICAL CHALLENGES

  5. Infrastructure: Custom vs. open-source (LangChain/CrewAI) for India-scale agentic OS.

COMPENSATION

Base: founder rate; top for Series B+ exp.

Equity: 8% (4-yr vest, 1-yr cliff) + up to 6% bonuses (GA: +2%, SLM: +2%, Series A: +2%). Total potential: 14%.

Post-Series A: 1.5-2.5L/month; role choice (VP Eng/CTO).

EQUITY VESTING & PROTECTION

  • Schedule: 1-yr cliff (2% vest), then 0.167%/month to 100% at 4 yrs.
  • Good Leaver: Keep vested.
  • Bad Leaver: All returns.
  • Non-Compete: 2 yrs in AI/agentic space.

AUTHORITY & DECISIONS

Unilateral: Hiring (budgeted), standards, architecture, infra.

Co-Founder: Roadmap, launches, risks, structure.

Conflicts: Data Trade-offs Founder call. Commit fully.

SUCCESS METRICS

Product: Agents 700 (M2); Pods 13 (M3); Tests 1,000+ (M6); Uptime 99.95% (M6); Latency <200ms (M3).

Financial (You Influence): COGS 700 (M6); Margin 85% (M6); 10K requests (M3).

Business (Founder Leads): 50 betas (M2); 250 customers/1.5Cr ARR (M12); Series A (M12).
