Buzzzest is a fashion brand that provides made-to-measure clothing and personalized styling recommendation.
You'll be joining us as one of the Co-founder. Your job will be to manage the clothing operations from scratch, create the strategy and manage the division alongside the co-founder and you'll be responsible for the entire design process, from translating concepts into technical sketches to creating impeccably crafted patterns.
Your Role
- Develop new and exciting fashion collections that align with brand aesthetics and market trends.
- Translate design concepts and sketches into technical flats and specifications.
- Develop and grade patterns for various garment sizes, ensuring accuracy and fit.
- Source and select high-quality materials based on design needs and functionality.
- Oversee sample production, conducting fit sessions and making adjustments to patterns as needed.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current fashion trends and garment construction techniques.
- Build the personal fashion styling business alongside the co-founders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer with a focus on patternmaking.
- Proven ability to translate design concepts into technical sketches and patterns.
- Expertise in patternmaking techniques, grading, and fit.
- Proficiency in CAD and other relevant fashion design software.
- Excellent understanding of garment construction and various fabrics.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design and patternmaking skills.
