Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for CNC VTL-VMC-HMC-HBM Operators, located in Tiruchirappalli. The operators will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL), Vertical Machining Centers (VMC), Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC), and Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM). Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and other documents to determine the specifications of the workpieces. Additionally, the operators will be required to monitor and adjust machine controls, replace tools, monitor machining quality, and ensure proper machine maintenance and safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Skills in Programming including understanding G-code, and M-code programming
- Machining skills including setting up and operating CNC VTL, VMC, HMC, and HBM machines
- Teaching skills to train and mentor junior operators
- Experience with blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining is a plus
