CNC VMC Setter Cum Production Supervisor

Operational Role

· Perform CNC/VMC machine setting and job changeover.

· Set tooling, fixtures, offsets, and program verification.

· Ensure correct drawing interpretation and machining parameters.

· Conduct trial runs and approve production readiness.

· Monitor daily production activities in the facility.

· Allocate manpower effectively based on skill level.

· Ensure production targets are achieved as per plan.

· Maintain discipline, attendance coordination, and shift handover reporting.

· Take immediate corrective actions in case of deviations.

· Monitor tool life and replacement schedules.

· Perform basic machine preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, daily checks).

· Report breakdowns immediately and coordinate with maintenance team.

· Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE usage.

· Maintain 5S standards on shop floor.

· Prevent unsafe practices and near-miss incidents.

· Maintain production logs, setup sheets, rejection records.

· Update daily output and downtime reports.

· Support audit documentation for ISO / IATF compliance.
