Position: VMC Programmer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in programming and setting milling machines, with a strong understanding of VMC operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and set up VMC machines according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
- Work with team to develop and implement new machining processes to improve productivity
- Keep accurate records of production and machine maintenance activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in programming and setting VMC machines
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of VMC operations and machining processes
- Experience with CNC programming software and G-code
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, as needed
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing setting
