Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CNC Operator role based at Sigmafos Motors and Pumps in Coimbatore. The CNC Operator will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to manufacture motor and pump components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include preparing tools and materials, loading and unloading parts, adjusting machine settings, and performing basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations. The role involves measuring and inspecting finished parts, identifying deviations from standards, and collaborating with supervisors or engineers to resolve machining issues. The CNC Operator will also maintain accurate production records, follow safety and quality guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement in machining processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling for CNC equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machining and Milling for producing precision components.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control for inspecting parts and ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Relevant experience as a CNC operator or machinist in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, use measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers), and follow safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work in a team-oriented production setting.
- A technical diploma or certification in mechanical engineering, machining, or related field is preferred.
