Cnc Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor CNC/VMC machines as per production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Perform machine setup, tool changes, and offset adjustments.
• Ensure components are produced with accuracy and meet quality standards.
• Conduct routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machines.
• Maintain production logs, inspection records, and tool usage reports.
• Follow all safety and shop-floor protocols.
• Identify and report machine/tool issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams to meet output targets.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Hands-on experience in operating CNC/VMC machines.
• Basic understanding of CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens systems preferred).
• Ability to use measuring tools: Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Understanding of G-codes and M-codes (for experienced candidates).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
