Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to operate and maintain CNC machines at our manufacturing facility in Malur, Kolar District. The role involves machine setup, production as per drawings, quality checks, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines (VMC / CNC Router / CNC Milling / CNC Cutting as applicable)
- Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications
- Set up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters as per production requirements
- Monitor machine operations and ensure dimensional accuracy
- Perform in-process quality checks using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges)
- Identify and report machine issues, tool wear, or defects to the supervisor
- Ensure production targets are met with minimal rejection and downtime
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S and safety guidelines
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth workflow
- Maintain basic production and machine records
Key Skills & Competencies- Hands-on experience with CNC machine operation
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds
- Basic understanding of G-code (preferred)
- Attention to detail and quality orientation
- Willingness to work in shifts
Preferred Candidate Profile- ITI / Diploma holder with CNC operating experience
- Experience in aluminium / metal fabrication industry preferred
- Candidates from Malur, Kolar, Hosur, Bangarapet, or nearby locations preferred
- Hardworking, disciplined, and safety-conscious
