Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with strong expertise in CATIA and SolidCAM to develop efficient machining programs for 3+1 milling machines. The role involves optimizing machining strategies for complex precision components.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CNC machining programs using CATIA and SolidCAM.

• Generate tool paths for 3+1 axis milling operations.

• Analyze component drawings, 3D models, and tolerances to determine machining strategies.

• Select appropriate cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.

• Simulate machining processes to ensure collision-free programs.

• Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, and surface finish.

• Support production team during first article trials and prove-out.

• Maintain documentation for machining programs and setup sheets.

• Work closely with design, production, and quality teams.

  
  
  
  

Requirements

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in CATIA Manufacturing modules.

• Hands-on experience with SolidCAM programming.

• Good knowledge of CNC milling operations and tooling.

• Understanding of GD&T and precision machining tolerances.

Qualification
