Job Description
) Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of ISO 9001, MS-Office, CMM Inspection activities.
Proficiency in Calypso software is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES / WORK PROFILE:
Create, modify, and optimize CMM measurement programs using Calypso software.
Develop inspection programs based on 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
Validate and prove out new CMM programs before production implementation.
Maintain and update CMM programs in line with engineering changes.
Operate CMM machines for first-off, in-process, and final inspections.
Measure complex machined and cast components.
Perform dimensional inspections as per control plans and inspection standards.
Verify critical dimensions and GD&T requirements, including profiles, positions, runouts, and
form tolerances.
Prepare and maintain:
o First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)
o Layout Inspection Reports
o Capability Study Reports
o Inspection Records
Maintain calibration and inspection documentation.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Apply GD&T principles as per ASME Y14.5 or ISO standards.
Interpret datums, true position, profile, concentricity, and runout requirements accurately.
