Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced CMM Operator with strong expertise in operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for inspection of precision machined components. The candidate should have hands-on experience in PC-DMIS / TOUCH-DMIS software, GD&T interpretation, dimensional inspection, and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently set up, program, and operate CMM machines for first article, in-process, and final inspection.
- Work with PC-DMIS and TOUCH-DMIS software for measurement programming and reporting.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, tolerances, and inspection plans.
- Establish fixturing, alignment, datum references, probing paths, and inspection sequences.
- Generate dimensional inspection reports and communicate deviations to production / quality teams.
- Identify non-conformances and support Root Cause Analysis / CAPA activities.
- Maintain calibration records, traceability, and quality documentation.
- Perform routine machine checks, probe qualification, and preventive maintenance coordination.
- Support internal audits, customer inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality standards, and handling procedures for precision components.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in CMM Setup, Programming & Operation.
- Hands-on knowledge of PC-DMIS / TOUCH-DMIS software.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience in Aerospace / Defense / Precision manufacturing preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
