We are seeking a skilled professional to lead CMDB Data Quality & Control, CMDB Design & Optimization, and CMDB Governance & Standards initiatives. This role will ensure the integrity, scalability, and compliance of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within ServiceNow, driving operational excellence and ITSM maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- CMDB Data Quality & Control Establish and enforce data quality rules, validation processes, and reconciliation mechanisms.
- CMDB Design & Optimization Architect and optimize CMDB structures for scalability, performance, and alignment with ITIL/ITSM best practices.
- CMDB Governance & Standards Define governance frameworks, standards, and policies to ensure CMDB consistency across the enterprise.
- ServiceNow CMDB Ownership Manage CMDB modules within ServiceNow, ensuring integration with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset).
- Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with IT operations, security, and compliance teams to align CMDB with organizational goals.
- Continuous Improvement Monitor CMDB health, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to enhance resilience and usability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise in CMDB management, governance, and optimization.
- Handson experience with ServiceNow CMDB design, customization, and integration.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and configuration management principles.
- Ability to enforce data quality controls and lead governance initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
