CLUSTER RCU MANAGER – MICRO LAP

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:

.Conduct thorough field verification of applicant's residence, business, and property being mortgaged.

.Perform detailed pre-disbursement and post-disbursement checks to detect fraudulent intent or document manipulation.

.Verify customer KYC, income documents, property ownership papers, and bank statements submitted for Micro LAP cases.

.Identify red flags and suspicious activity escalate high-risk cases to the risk/credit team.

.Coordinate with sales, credit, and legal teams to ensure end-to-end risk assessment and timely closures.

.Liaise with local verification vendors and maintain effective field intelligence networks.

.Conduct back-checks, random audits, and investigate leads related to potential misrepresentation.

.Maintain comprehensive MIS and reports of field visits, fraud findings, and verification outcomes.

.Stay updated with fraud trends and modus operandi specific to micro-segment and semi-urban/rural areas.

Required Skills and Competencies:

.Strong knowledge of field investigation, document verification, and fraud detection techniques.

.Good understanding of the LAP segment, especially in micro-loan contexts (low-ticket size, informal income groups).

.Strong geographical and market intelligence of the operating region.

.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.

.Integrity, analytical mindset, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

.Proficient in Excel, field reporting apps/tools, and basic MIS handling.

.Willingness to travel extensively for field investigations.
