Location: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana (Multiple Project Sites)

Experience: 12–15 years in Renewable Energy Construction (Utility-Scale Solar Projects)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
  • 12–15 years of experience in renewable energy or infrastructure construction with a focus on utility-scale solar projects
  • Proven track record of managing multiple solar project sites simultaneously
  • Strong experience in project execution, construction management, and commissioning
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large project teams across geographically dispersed locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in EPC environments with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control
  • Experience managing project portfolios with cumulative capacities of up to 200 MW
  • Proven expertise in contractor, vendor, and stakeholder management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience handling regulatory approvals, commissioning, and project handover activities

About the Job

As a Project Manager – Cluster (Solar EPC) at Ilios Power, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of multiple solar power project sites within a designated cluster, with a cumulative capacity of up to 200 MW. You will lead project delivery from site mobilization through commissioning and handover, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and technical standards.

In this role, you will provide strategic direction and operational oversight across multiple site teams, coordinating closely with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Construction functions to drive consistent execution performance. You will monitor project progress, manage risks, optimize resource allocation across sites, and implement corrective actions to address schedule or execution challenges.

Your success will be defined by your ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and stakeholder management, ensuring efficient execution across geographically dispersed project locations.

Responsibilities

1. Cluster Project Leadership

  • Lead and oversee execution of multiple solar EPC projects within the assigned cluster
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects from mobilization to commissioning and handover
  • Drive execution excellence and standardization across all project sites

2. Project Planning & Monitoring

  • Review and monitor project schedules, milestones, and critical activities
  • Track progress across all sites and ensure timely achievement of project targets
  • Coordinate with Planning teams to identify and mitigate schedule risks

3. Resource Management

  • Optimize deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials across multiple sites
  • Ensure efficient utilization of resources to maximize productivity and cost efficiency
  • Support resource planning based on project priorities and timelines

4. Site Team Management

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Project Managers, Site Managers, and execution teams
  • Monitor site performance and ensure adherence to company standards
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across project teams

5. Contractor & Vendor Management

  • Oversee contractor and vendor performance across all assigned projects
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality requirements, and timelines
  • Resolve escalated site-level issues and contractual challenges

6. Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Coordination

  • Ensure seamless coordination of civil, MMS, mechanical, and electrical activities
  • Monitor project readiness for testing, grid synchronization, and commissioning
  • Drive timely resolution of technical and execution-related issues

7. Budget & Cost Control

  • Monitor project costs and resource utilization across the cluster
  • Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions
  • Support project profitability through efficient execution and cost management

8. Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project-related matters within the cluster
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, local authorities, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain strong relationships to facilitate smooth project execution

9. Commissioning & Project Handover

  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities
  • Ensure all project documentation, approvals, and handover requirements are completed
  • Facilitate successful transfer of completed projects to Operations teams

10. Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct periodic reviews, audits, and inspections across project sites
  • Promote a strong culture of safety and compliance throughout the cluster

11. Reporting & Governance

  • Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership
  • Present progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans
  • Drive governance and performance review mechanisms across all project sites
