Cluster Manager-Hyderabad

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Cluster Manager to oversee the operations of a number

of stores in Hyderabad (and more which are going to open in and around the region soon). You will

assume responsibility for the overall success of the stores by setting employee-level targets,

supervising store managers, and ensuring success in every measure.

Our average store size is 1200 sqft with one of our largest ones in Jubilee Hills which is 3000 sqft.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating existing operations and developing appropriate strategies to increase standards of
  
  

customer service

• Monitor existing SOP adherence and implement new SOPs/alter to optimize operations to
  
  

ensure high efficiency

• Communicate and regularly achieve sales targets for a team of store managers while working
  
  

with high standards of operations across the region

• Training and motivating store managers and store employees in effective sales techniques
  
  

and supervisory techniques and thus lead your team to provide the best customer services

• Evaluate and analyse performance both—store-wise and employee-wise, using key metrics
  
  

and come up with solutions to improve them

• Report to senior executives on progress and issues
• Assist the upper management in decisions for expansion or acquisition
• Detecting, investigating, and remedying discrepancies in sales across region, if required
• Traveling to stores to conduct your duties on-site, as needed. Informing your Manager of
  
  

progress and pitfalls on a regular basis

• Perform detailed analysis of new market trends, consumer behavior and competition in the
  
  

market

• Assist marketing team in carrying out promotional activities
• Acknowledge escalated customer queries timely and effectively
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as area manager, store manager, assistant manager or similar managerial
  
  

role (handling 5-6 stores) in a reputed organization for a fashion retail brand for at least 2

years (overall at least 6 years of experience)

• Knowledge of retail performance evaluation metrics and principles
• Sound understanding of optimization of store operations and standards for success including
  
  

knowledge of KPIs like sales/sqft, gross margins return on investment, average transaction

value, customer retention, conversion rate, foot traffic, inventory turnover.

• Experience working with an ERP software
• Exceptional oral communication in English, Telugu & Hindi and English writing skills
• Strong supervisory, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
• Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• A voice of reason, especially in trying circumstances
• BSc/BA in business administration, retail management or similar field
• Willing to travel up to 75 percent of the time
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets
