Job Title: Cluster Head Retail Liabilities

Role Overview
The Cluster Head Retail Liabilities is responsible for driving the growth of the Retail Liabilities business across the assigned cluster (Vellore Erode). The role focuses on managing branch teams, acquiring new customers, increasing CASA deposits, and ensuring delivery of superior customer experience while meeting business targets and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Business Growth Strategy
- Drive growth of Retail Liabilities portfolio including CASA (Current Account Savings Account), Term Deposits, and other deposit products.
- Develop and implement cluster-level business strategies aligned with bank objectives.
- Achieve assigned cluster targets for CASA acquisition, deposit growth, and cross-sell products.
- Team Leadership Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage Branch Managers and liabilities sales teams within the cluster.
- Ensure strong sales discipline, productivity, and target achievement across branches.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team efficiency.
- Customer Acquisition Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with HNI, SME, and retail customers.
- Identify new business opportunities through market mapping and local partnerships.
- Drive initiatives for new-to-bank customer acquisition.
- Branch Operational Oversight
- Ensure smooth functioning of branches within the cluster with focus on liabilities business.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, operational, and risk policies.
- Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Cross-Selling Product Penetration
- Promote cross-selling of banking products such as insurance, mutual funds, forex, and digital banking solutions.
- Work closely with product and operations teams to improve product adoption.
- Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activity and local market trends.
- Provide insights to regional leadership to refine growth strategies.

Required Qualifications Experience
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 812 years of experience in Retail Banking with strong exposure to liabilities business.
- Minimum 35 years in a leadership or cluster/area management role.
- Proven track record in CASA acquisition and deposit growth.
