We are hiring within the hospitality industry full-service hotels and resorts operating a multi-property cluster across India. This on-site leadership role sits in the hotel finance function and focuses on driving consolidated financial control, operational profitability, compliance, and process standardization across multiple properties.
Primary Job Title: Cluster Finance Manager (Hospitality/Hotel Group) | Location: India | Workplace: On-site
Role & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end financial management for a cluster of hotel properties: consolidate P&Ls, prepare cluster-level financial statements and deliver accurate monthly close.
- Prepare and present timely MIS, variance analyses and actionable insights to cluster and corporate leadership to improve profitability and working capital.
- Lead budgeting, annual forecasting and rolling forecasts; partner with revenue and operations teams to align targets and implement corrective actions.
- Drive internal controls, ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, payroll-related obligations) and coordinate internal and statutory audits.
- Manage cash flow and treasury operations for the cluster, oversee intercompany reconciliations, vendor payments and cost-control initiatives.
- Standardise finance SOPs, mentor and upskill property finance teams, and lead ERP/MIS improvements to increase automation and reporting accuracy.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
- Proven hospitality or multi-property finance experience with responsibility for consolidated reporting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modelling and analysis
- Experience with ERP finance modules such as SAP FICO or Oracle Financials
- Deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting (MIS)
- Working knowledge of Indian tax and statutory compliance, including GST
Preferred
- Experience with Opera PMS integrations or hotel financial systems
- Exposure to ERP implementations and process automation initiatives
- Prior exposure to Big4 audits or leading statutory audits for hospitality clients
