Define cloud-based security standards and collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate them into the Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) framework and pipelines.
Work with application developers and database administrators to provide creative solutions to complex technology challenges and business requirements.
Responsible for thorough documentation of implementations through technical documentation and run books.
Provide input and feedback on security architectures.
Offer subject matter expertise on information security architecture and systems engineering to other IT and business teams.
Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements, effectively communicating security risks to stakeholders, ranging from business leaders to engineers.
Automate security controls, data, and processes to improve metrics and operational support.
Implement the principle of Least Privilege and monitor excessive privilege using Entitlement Management tools.
Utilize cloud-based APIs to write network/system-level tools for safeguarding cloud environments.
Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
Investigate and recommend innovative technologies or methods to enhance Zoetis cloud-based environments security.
Ensure compliance with relevant corporate policies and country-specific regulations, especially regarding local data privacy restrictions.
Partner with internal teams and support vendors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related science field is required.
MS or advanced security/identity courses, or other applicable certifications (e.g., Azure and AWS Cloud Certification, CISSP) is desirable.
Experience:
6-8 years of experience in IT with a focus on security.
3-5 years of experience in corporate cloud security.
Experience implementing or supporting Cloud-Based Security solutions such as Wiz, Azure Security Center, Snyk, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, CloudHealth, Entitlement Management tools, AWS CloudTrail, etc.
Expertise in platform security and administration of Azure Active Directory, especially with service principles, app registrations, managed identities, and service accounts.
Hands-on, coding-level experience with technologies like Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and Chef.
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, tracert/traceroute, log analytics, nslookup, nmap, Wireshark.
Experience with large-scale IT projects and coordinating with various roles to ensure success.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
DevOps expertise with cloud deployment, build, and test automation technologies like Terraform, Chef, Docker, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.
