CloudOps Engineer (OpenStack Specialist)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• OpenStack Deployment and Management: Deploy, configure, and manage OpenStack environments from scratch to support scalable and high-availability cloud infrastructure. Perform regular updates and maintenance on OpenStack components to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track the performance and health of OpenStack services. Analyze system performance metrics and conduct tuning to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Respond to and resolve incidents related to the OpenStack environment, ensuring minimal downtime. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective measures.
• Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency. Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet to automate deployment and configuration processes.
• Documentation and Best Practices: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging cloud technologies.
