We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
In This Role, You Will
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS while following HSBC Cloud guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud-based solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud environments.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources to achieve cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior cloud engineers and team members.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures.
- Lead a culture of innovation & experimentation, support full software lifecycle that incorporates the best of technology approaches & delivery methodologies.
- Actively contribute to hands-on coding, code reviews, and refactoring to maintain high engineering standards.
- Actively participate in brainstorming session and provide solid inputs to the team and ensure best practices are followed within the team.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Requires deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Terraform
- Requires in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services like S3 bucket, Ec2 instance, load balancer, IAM role, IAM policy, Secret Manager, Parameter Store, lambda, and AWS Code Build
- Must have knowledge of at least one CICD tool like Jenkins
- Knowledge in AWS Data services like MS SQL server, MySQL, S3, EBS is required
- Experience in infrastructure support of big scale AWS hosted applications
- Experience in REST APIs development and good understanding of authentication/authorization patterns
- Experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics etc.
- Understanding of developing, configuring, deploying and troubleshooting web applications preferably using IIS and .net framework
- Aware and familiar with Security best practices
