Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of IT experience, proven success in cloud migration projects, and the ability to design and deliver cloud architectures and solutions. This role also requires leadership skills to guide and mentor L0, L1, and L2 support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture & Solutions
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud solutions
- Develop end-to-end solutions integrating Office 365 and Azure platforms.
- Define cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Provide architectural guidance for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Migration & Transformation
- Lead and manage large-scale migration projects (email, applications, infrastructure).
- Ensure minimal downtime and seamless transition during migrations.
- Develop migration strategies, roadmaps, and risk mitigation plans.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor L0, L1, and L2 support teams, ensuring operational excellence.
- Establish best practices, SOPs, and escalation procedures.
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements across support operations.
- Operational Excellence
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in cloud technologies.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Office 365 and Azure.
- Proven experience in cloud architecture design and solution delivery.
- Demonstrated success in cloud migration projects.
- Strong leadership experience managing multi-level support teams.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
