Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect – Banking Domain

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect with strong experience in enterprise architecture, application modernization, cloud architecture, integration, and technical solution design. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microservices, API Architecture, Integration Architecture, DevSecOps, and CI/CD.

The candidate should also have strong BFSI/Banking domain knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with business, technology, engineering, and architecture teams in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end solution design across application, cloud, integration, and infrastructure domains.
• Prepare comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents independently.
• Conduct architecture governance and design reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards.
• Drive and enforce architectural best practices across engineering teams working in Agile environments – Scrum/Kanban.
• Design scalable and secure cloud architectures, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure.
• Drive application modernization initiatives across legacy and modern technology landscapes.
• Design and implement Microservices, API Architecture, and complex Integration Architecture.
• Embed DevSecOps principles and automated CI/CD pipelines into solution architecture.
• Conduct technical vendor and product evaluations, including defining evaluation criteria and performing comparative technical assessments.
• Execute hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate technology and vendor capabilities.
• Create architecture diagrams and technical blueprints using Visio, Sparx EA, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide practical, scenario-based solutions to complex technical and business problems.

HLD / LLD Expertise

The candidate must have 8+ years of hands-on experience preparing and managing HLD and LLD documents.

High-Level Design (HLD)

• Overall system architecture
• Platform and technology selection
• Major application components
• Data flows
• Integration architecture
• Cloud architecture

Low-Level Design (LLD)

• Detailed component-level design
• Database schemas
• API specifications
• Component interactions
• Detailed technical logic
• Configuration and implementation-level details

BFSI / Banking Domain Requirements

• Strong experience in the Banking / BFSI domain.
• Good understanding of banking processes, systems, terminology, and financial-services scenarios.
• Ability to relate previous architecture experience to real-world banking use cases.
• Strong understanding of enterprise processes and practical application of standard architecture and technology practices.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in Solution / Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong experience in preparing HLD and LLD from scratch.
• Proven experience independently designing end-to-end/full-stack solutions.
• Experience participating in multiple formal vendor/product evaluations.
• Hands-on experience executing technical PoCs.
• Strong experience with architecture governance in Agile environments.
• Strong technical documentation and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and scenario-based problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant BFSI/Banking domain experience is mandatory.
