Design and development of dynamic, scalable, stable, and cost-effective cloud architectures in Microsoft Azure
Analysis and evaluation of existing architectures, consulting and explanation of their transformation or optimization
Consulting on the creation or modernization of cloud-based applications
Consulting on the expansion and further development of cloud-based system landscapes
Development of best practices for cloud-based IT operations with a particular focus on security, compliance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency; consulting on their implementation and ensuring compliance
Identification of automation potential, development of standards and rules for the automation of cloud-based IT operations, and consulting on the implementation of appropriate solutions
Analysis of performance-related requirements of our business owners and application teams; translation of requirements into tailored cloud architectures in line with the latest state of the art
Requirements
Several years of experience in designing and validating cloud-based architectures
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture in the public cloud (preferably Microsoft Azure) and in traditional data centers; Azure certifications are an advantage
Strong consulting skills and excellent communication skills, especially when mediating between different departments and companies in German and English
Experience in managing service providers
Flexibility, quick comprehension, and customer focus

Additional knowledge and skills that are advantageous
Knowledge and experience with container technology (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)

Practical experience with agile methods and working practices
Practical experience in IT service management according to ITIL
Knowledge of data protection, cyber security, and ISMS requirements
