Overview

So what will you be doing as a Cloud Security Technical Sales

As a technical sales development representative, your primary responsibility will be to identify and capitalize on robust sales opportunities by effectively profiling prospective customers, understanding their specific needs, and driving new business through both outbound and inbound campaigns with a strong focus on security.

Your role will extend beyond mere sales, as you will play a crucial part in helping businesses enhance their collaboration, accelerate their pace, and foster innovation. You will work towards individual targets but will also be part of a larger sales team with a focus to grow our customer base across APAC. You will be in a phone-based environment, where you will interact with customers primarily via outbound calls.

Your Responsibilities

  • Achieve quarterly Key Performance Metrics and meet daily and weekly activity targets
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts to identify high-potential opportunities for new business and upselling
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to source, contact, and engage potential customers
  • Educate customers on available products and solutions
  • Perform daily outbound calls and emails (primarily cold calling), engage with C-level decision makers, build rapport quickly, and assess customer needs
  • Identify prospects pain points, gather technical requirements, and align business needs with suitable Cloud Security solutions using a solution-selling approach
  • Create value for customers and drive progression to the next stage of the sales process

Your Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field is required; a technical degree is an advantage
  • English communication level: B2
  • Minimum 1 year of Sales or Business Development experience in outbound sales within the IT industry
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, especially Cloud Platforms
  • Comfortable working towards assigned sales targets in a phone-based environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented attitude
  • Good organizational, pipeline management, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Solid computer skills to efficiently perform in a digital work environment
