Cloud Security Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions for cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Lead efforts to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analyses of cloud-based systems and services.
• Implement security best practices for identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments.
• Manage and ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.).
• Work closely with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and the implementation of cloud security controls in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards related to cloud security.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents in cloud environments using cloud-native security tools and third-party solutions.
• Implement encryption, key management, and data protection strategies for cloud data storage and transmission.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, IT, Networking) to architect secure cloud environments.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on cloud security best practices and tools.
