Job Description
Opcito Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security (CNAPP) Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud-native application protection platforms (CNAPP) and related security solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud security product implementation, configuration, and optimization, along with a solid understanding of DevSecOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in security product/services deployment and configuration.
- Strong understanding of CNAPP architecture and at least some of its components.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security tools/platforms.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools and secure CI/CD implementations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Good understanding of IAM, network security, and cloud-native services.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Nice To Have
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST)
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications such as:
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- Microsoft Azure Security Engineer
- Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- Security certifications such as:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Experience with leading CNAPP or cloud security tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Orca, Lacework).
