A strategic presales role responsible for designing scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud solutions that address client objectives across infrastructure, data, DevOps, and cloud-native domains. This role focuses on translating complex business needs into executable cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP while aligning with CloudThat's consulting frameworks and customer-centric values. With 45 years of relevant experience, this position is ideal for professionals who can combine deep technical acumen with strong communication and business alignment to lead multi-industry presales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client discovery sessions and develop solution blueprints that align technical requirements with business outcomes.
- Architect end-to-end cloud solutions across infrastructure, security, data, and application layers using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Apply the Well-Architected Framework to deliver secure, high-performing, cost-efficient, and resilient solutions.
- Create and review solution artifacts including Statements of Work (SoWs), architecture diagrams, proposals, and pricing estimates.
- Conduct feasibility and risk assessments to evaluate trade-offs between scalability, cost, and performance.
- Participate in client-facing activities including technical workshops, proposal walkthroughs, and executive briefings.
- Guide internal teams in aligning solutions with delivery feasibility, compliance, and long-term transformation goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proficiency with AWS/Azure architectural best practices across domains like networking, storage, IAM, and DevOps.
- Strong grasp of migration strategies, security design, and cloud automation.
- Hands-on exposure to architecture tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io, Visio) and pricing calculators.
Good-to-Have Qualifications
- Multi-cloud certifications (e.g., AWS SA Pro, AZ-305, Google PCA).
- Experience in regulated domains (BFSI, Healthcare, Government).
- Familiarity with RFP processes, defense presentations, and partner ecosystems.
