Job Description

Based out of our R&D department, you will be joining the Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps team, consisting of skilled DevOps & Infrastructure engineers. The global team, which is part of a SAFe train, is responsible for building & maintaining a modern large-scale cloud environment that enables WS Audiology to release software in an efficient, secure & reliable manner.

As one of our experienced Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be joining an international Scrum team with dedicated and skilled professionals to help build WS Audiology's next-generation cloud application software.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze overall requirements and design the appropriate cloud infrastructure services
  • Develop, Build, automate & maintain a available cloud infrastructure platform on Microsoft Azure for customers worldwide
  • Work closely with geographically distributed teams including Development, Cloud and Infrastructure architects and hearing aid specialist to create best-in-class cloud solutions
  • Partner closely with development teams and support them with generic and expandable cloud solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and incidents and ensure root cause analysis and preventive actions are performed.
  • Willing to work as part of L3 24/7 on call schedule on rotation with other team members.

What You Bring

  • BE/B.Tech degree in Computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Azure DevOps
  • Background in Software Development
  • Experience working with large-scale cloud-based systems
  • Experience in Azure infrastructure and development, .NET Core/C# based; Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
  • Experience in Azure Infrastructure with emphasis on micro services with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and serverless capabilities (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and ServiceBus, Cosmos database etc...)
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Modern DevOps and deployment automation practices such as build and release pipelines.
  • Expertise in PowerShell/Bash scripting
  • Good conceptual understanding of Cloud and Microservices architecture and system thinking.
  • Knowledge and experience with monitoring systems, such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor.
  • You have understanding of development, ideally within the .NET ecosystem.
  • Good to have experience in .NET core and C# based application development
  • Experience in working with Agile and SAFe development methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Good to have experience in Medical software projects.
