Cloud Platform Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer with strong expertise in the Azure Data Ecosystem and Snowflake Cloud Data Platform. In this role, you will help build scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure, implement automated system health monitoring, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and guide teams in DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure automation, Terraform-based infrastructure as code, CI/CD implementation, and Snowflake cloud administration.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with the development team and implement DevOps best practices across the software delivery lifecycle
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient, reliable, and automated software delivery
• Manage and support Azure-based infrastructure and services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Function Apps, and related platform services
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and production environments
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform on the Microsoft Azure platform
• Define and execute administrative tasks in support of the Snowflake Data Cloud environment
• Design and develop secure access to Snowflake objects using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Support data governance initiatives in Snowflake, including column-level security, secure views, and dynamic data masking
• Provide technical support to development teams to ensure smooth application deployment and operations
• Collaborate on optimizing application performance, scalability, and platform reliability
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for cloud platform operations and DevOps workflows
• Stay updated on industry trends, Azure platform enhancements, and emerging cloud technologies

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 6+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform on Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS, Azure cloud infrastructure, and Azure data ecosystem services
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, configuring, and developing CI/CD solutions using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, and related automation tools
• Strong automation scripting experience using tools and languages such as Terraform and Ansible
• 2+ years of experience in Snowflake Cloud Administration with expertise in administration, access management, and governance
• Experience in Snowflake security concepts including RBAC, secure views, and dynamic data masking
• Ability to manage and support Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Function Apps
• Strong troubleshooting skills across development and production environments, with focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Knowledge of cloud platform monitoring, automated health checks, and DevOps best practices
• Relevant certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate will be an added advantage
