We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role supports critical cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and database environments across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, detailoriented, and comfortable working in a fastpaced operational environment with strong procedural discipline.

Role Overview

The Cloud Platform Engineer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, automating configuration changes across cloud tiers, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and providing operational support for multiple database technologies. This role requires strong commandline skills, scripting proficiency, and the ability to follow established processes while seeking clarification when needed.

MustHave Skills & Experience

Cloud & Platform

• Handson GCP experience, including:
• Apigee
• HiFlow
• Liquibase
• BigQuery
• Experience automating configuration changes across dev/test/prod cloud environments
• Strong Linux commandline proficiency
• Experience with GitHub for version control and workflow automation

DevOps & Automation

• Experience with CI/CD tools:
• Cloud Build
• GitHub Workflows
• Jenkins
• Scripting proficiency in:
• Bash
• KSH
• Python

Operational Excellence

• Strong procedural adherence with the ability to follow documented processes and request clarification when steps are unclear
