Role Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to support and manage day-to-day operations of Seclore's cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure. The role involves monitoring production systems, handling incidents, executing deployments, supporting infrastructure provisioning, and contributing to automation initiatives.
The engineer will work closely with CloudOps, DevOps, Product Engineering, and Support teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor cloud infrastructure, Seclore product applications, alerts, and logs to ensure high availability and performance of production environments.
Perform first-level troubleshooting of infrastructure and application issues, drive incident resolution, and escalate complex problems as required.
Execute Seclore application deployments, configuration updates, patching activities, and environment setup across production and non-production systems following standard procedures.
Perform pre-deployment and post-deployment validation checks to ensure successful releases.
Provision and configure cloud resources such as compute instances, storage, networking components, and access roles under defined guidelines.
Carry out routine operational tasks including service restarts, certificate renewals, backup verification, and scheduled maintenance activities.
Support capacity scaling activities during traffic spikes, planned events, or infrastructure upgrades.
Execute existing automation scripts for infrastructure commissioning, scaling, and maintenance tasks, and contribute to basic automation enhancements under guidance.
Perform regular system health checks, monitor resource utilization trends, and conduct log analysis to identify recurring performance or configuration issues.
Maintain accurate updates in ticketing tools and ensure timely closure of incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
Maintain and update operational runbooks, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting documentation based on operational learnings.
Collaborate with Product Engineering, QA, Support, and Customer teams during releases, incident resolution, and change implementations.
Participate in rotational on-call schedules to support platform availability.
Required Skills
13 years Hands-on exposure to AWS cloud services
Good understanding of Linux fundamentals and networking basics
Experience in application deployment and configuration on cloud servers
Exposure to monitoring tools, incident management, and log analysis
Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / Python / PowerShell / Batch)
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good to Have
Exposure to SaaS or managed services environment
Awareness of DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools)
Basic understanding of containers (Docker / ECS / Kubernetes)
Exposure to database basics (SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL)
Experience with VPN / VPC networking concepts
