The IT Cloud Networking Engineer role is a multifaceted production engineering position. It requires a blend of conventional networking expertise, NetDevOps proficiency, and a deep understanding of Public Cloud and Infrastructure as Code platforms like Terraform. You should be able to multitask, manage your priorities, and possess technical proficiency across a broad spectrum of technologies, encompassing traditional Networking, NetDevOps/automation, and a thorough grasp of public cloud architecture and Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform. You must excel in high-pressure, fast-paced, and ever-evolving trading production environments. Your primary responsibilities involve the design, configuration, and upkeep of our cloud-based network architecture, ensuring the dependability, security, and efficiency of our cloud network to facilitate the smooth operation of cloud-based services and applications.
Educational requirements:
Bachelor degree in a related area
Main Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Design and implement scalable, high-performance network architectures in the cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Linux administration and debugging
Knowledge of Terraform is a must, Additional knowledge of Python, Ruby, Shell Scripting is a plus
Ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud network
Interfacing with the rest of IT, as well as Production Support/Development teams
Network maintenance (primarily Cisco IOS/NX-OS/IOS-XR/IOS-XE)
Cloud Network infrastructure research/architecting/engineering/support
Automation of the Cloud Network
Perform other assignments and tasks as assigned by Management
Hours:40 hours/week - Monday to Friday - UK working hours (13:30-21:30); Fully working from the office - SKCL Prime, Plot No-C46A, Cipet road, Fourth Floor, Thiru Vi Ka Industrial Estate, Alandur, Guindy, Chennai -032
