Cloud Migration (Proactive Hire) - 2

Key Skills:

• Cloud migration experience (Azure or multi-cloud focus)
• Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
• Linux/Unix and/or Windows administration
• Automation/configuration management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack, Bosh, Terraform)
• Source code management (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
• SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL, MySQL, Amazon DynamoDB)
• Networking and Internet Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, routing)
• Scripting/coding (PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins or equivalent)
• Scheduling and orchestration (Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm)
• API design (RESTful services integration)

Main Purpose of the Role:

• Hands-on cloud engineering role focused on migrating client workloads to public cloud (Azure/AWS or multi-cloud environments).
• Deliver infrastructure migrations for large, global clients.
• Own technical, commercial, and service aspects of cloud migration engagements.
• Build IaaS/PaaS infrastructure landing zones.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction while driving efficiency, reducing labor input, costs, and implementation time.
• Support multiple deals in parallel and help industrialize migration processes.
• Flexible work hours and willingness to work nationally/internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on involvement in cloud migration projects from planning to execution.
• Collaborate closely with clients, partners, and internal business units.
• Deliver infrastructure migrations to public clouds (AWS, Azure).
• Implement automation/configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Manage source code repositories and version control workflows.
• Design and deploy databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Maintain strong networking knowledge and troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools.
• Design APIs and ensure integrations with other services.
• Travel flexibility for national and international projects.
