Cloud Migration Engineer

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience
• Strong AWS experience (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch)
• Proven experience with on-premises to AWS cloud migrations
• Strong Python and/or Java development experience
• Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting experience
• Experience building automation scripts and frameworks
• REST API and API integration experience
• CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab, Jenkins, Maven or similar)
• Experience with Kubernetes-based deployments
• Batch scheduling/orchestration experience (AutoSys, Control-M, Cron or similar)
• Monitoring and observability experience (CloudWatch, Splunk or similar)
• Performance tuning and optimisation of production workloads
• Experience executing migration testing, cutovers, and post-migration validation
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice-to-Haves

• AWS migration factory experience
• AI-assisted engineering or automation experience
• Infrastructure capacity planning experience
• Legacy system decommissioning experience
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise cloud transformation programmes
• Experience documenting migration best practices and operational procedures
• Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
