Summary:

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes strategizing and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and optimized for performance. The position requires close collaboration with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage cloud technologies for enhanced operational efficiency and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand migration requirements and constraints.
• Develop detailed migration plans that minimize downtime and data loss.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources post-migration to ensure performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Assist junior team members in understanding migration processes and best practices.

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Migration Planning.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as private and public cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of application and data migration strategies.
• Ability to design scalable and high-performance cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with infrastructure assessment and capacity planning.
